Shifted VAT within Europe

If you as a company have one establishment in Europe, you are allowed to shift VAT when your customer has the goods delivered outside the country where your company is located. Here it is important that the delivery address your customer can select or enter in the checkout is in a different country than where you are located. In addition, it is mandatory to enter or have a valid VAT number present in the company data.


Within Shoxl it is possible to check VAT number. For this purpose, a web service can be activated that performs 'VIES VAT number validation' check.
