Version 1.10

Introduction

The Open Catalog Interface (OCI) integration enables a direct connection between a procurement system and the Shoxl webshop. This allows a customer to select products from the webshop within their procurement system and seamlessly transfer them back for further processing.

This guide outlines the correct configuration of the OCI integration.

Setting Up the OCI URL

To ensure proper functionality, the OCI URL must be configured within the user's software package. Use the following URL:

https://[WEBSHOPURL]/ocihome?username=[USERNAME]&password=[PASSWORD]&hook_url=[HOOKURL]

Where:

  • [WEBSHOPURL] should be replaced with the webshop's URL.

  • [USERNAME] refers to the customer's username (typically a debtor number or email address).

  • [PASSWORD] is the customer's password, as used for webshop access.

  • [HOOKURL] is the URL provided by the procurement system for order feedback.

How the Integration Works

  1. Automatic Login: When a customer accesses the webshop via the procurement system, they are automatically logged in.

  2. Placing an Order: The customer selects products and adds them to the shopping cart.

  3. Returning to the Procurement System: On the shopping cart page, the "Next" button is replaced with "Return to Procurement System".

  4. Order Confirmation: When the customer clicks "Return to Procurement System", the shopping cart is sent to the specified HOOKURL, completing the order process within the webshop.
