Which Characters Are Allowed and Prohibited in File Names for Article Imports

In many cases, errors occur during the import of article files when invalid characters are used in file names.

Use appropriate file names when uploading images, documents, manuals, etc. File names typically include an article number and the product title, or just the article number. You can later add the title in the Asset Management system, which will be used on the webshop, in search indexes, and for SEO purposes.

Preferably use the following characters:

• - (hyphen)
• _ (underscore)

We recommend keeping file names under 25 characters.
